The Artists
"Tin" Odescalchi
"I am a Gloucestershire artist and paint from life, locally. I Work fast, as the urgency of capturing the changing light in a landscape/skyscape adds vibrancy and energy to my paintings.
My paintings are not only about communicating what's in front of me but using the quality and lusciousness of the paint itself. Seen from near, they are about the quality of the paint, and as you step away, the image of the scene I am painting becomes clear."
Tin trained in Gloucestershire, and at the Vienna Academie. She paints landscapes, nudes, and nude portraits and has had exhibitions in London and internationally. She has 2 solo shows next year in London's West End and has completed many notable private commissions.

Emma Kennaway
Emma Kennaway was born in London. As a child she travelled extensively with her parents, living for a while on a houseboat in Kashmir, in Alassio in Italy, and later in Hollywood where her father, the distinguished Scottish author James Kennaway, was working.
She was then educated privately in Scotland and England before going on to study at Ruskin School of Fine Art & Drawing at Oxford. She arrived at a time when a thorough grounding in the necessary disciplines of painting and drawing from life was central to the course. Following here training she also gained experience in couture tailoring by working for Victor Edelstein.

Adrian

Butchers
She now divides her working life between Cheltenham, where her two teenage sons still live, and London.
Her work is in numerous private collections, and her sitters come from all walks of life - from medicine, law and business to theatre, sport and academia. She also paints formal or more relaxed portraits of families and individual studies of children.
In 2003 Emma was awarded the Garrick/Milne Prize for her portrait of the Actor Tim West, which is now on permanent display in The Garrick.
She has studios in Cheltenham and London but, if more convenient, is always prepared to work at a sitter's home or office.

Christina Olstrom
"There is a tranquil beauty to some of Christina Ostrom's work and a primitive joy in others. Always the pictures tell a story that extends beyond the frame edges into her own world of the imagination and that communicate directly with the viewer. She is inspired by travel, people and animals who all populate that world in a delightfully innocent way. There is a power and delicacy to her work which is not constrained by environment or formality. From Kenya to the Cotswolds, from town to country, she paints her own truth and instils in it her own vibrant energy."
